This website sets no cookies
This website sets no cookies. You will not find a cookie from us, or from anyone else, placed by these pages. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no third-party embeds that would put a cookie on your device while you read.
The banner you may notice at the bottom of the screen is not a request for permission to set cookies. It simply records your choice about the small amount of browser storage described below, and you can change that choice whenever you like.
What the browser storage holds
Instead of cookies, the site uses your browser's local storage. That is a space on your own device holding a few small values. It is read only by this website, it is never sent to our server, and it does not identify you to us in any way.
The list is short and fixed: the cookie-banner choice, the colour-scheme choice of the helper apps, the list of items you saved and your diary entries. If something is not in that list, the website does not store it on your device.
- Your choice in the cookie banner
- The colour scheme you picked for the helper apps
- The items you have saved
- Your diary entries
The banner choice
The banner remembers which button you pressed so that it does not appear again on your next visit. That preference is one small value in local storage. Nothing else is recorded when you click, and no choice is passed to us or to anyone else.
You can change your mind by clearing the site's storage in your browser settings; the banner will then appear once more. Nothing on this website depends on the banner — every page is readable either way.
Helper apps and offline copies
If you install a helper app, your browser keeps an offline copy of its pages on the device so that it works without a connection. That copy is part of the app and not a tracker, and it disappears when you uninstall the app or clear the site's storage.
The apps contain no games, no points and no purchases. What you write in them stays on your device: we cannot see your saved items or your diary entries, and they are never uploaded to our server.
Clearing storage and reaching us
Every modern browser lets you see and delete the storage a site has left behind, usually in the privacy or site-data part of its settings. Deleting it removes your banner choice, colour scheme, saved items and diary entries from that device.
If you have a question about cookies or browser storage, write to info@astrenik.click. We reply within two working days. Nothing on this website asks you to accept anything before you can read it.
